We’re just over a month into the Spring semester, so I thought I would share a little bit about about the amazing work being done through Eternity Bible College.
As it stands we currently have over 185 students benefiting from the courses being offered this semester. 11 of our students are international, taking classes online while continuing to make an impact in their respective context.
Our students are serving in over 100 different churches, including 6international churches! This includes a church in the Middle East that we’ve seen go from 1 to 5 students since their pastor started taking classes with us. As one of these new students said, the training they’re receiving is “literally life changing.”
Pause and Reflect
While I’m excited to share these numbers with you, I want to hit pause for a second to reflect on the incredible reality behind those numbers.
These students are serving their churches and bringing the love of Jesus into communities all around the world. Even as they’re taking classes, they’re discipling, teaching, loving, and making an impact that can’t be reflected on a chart or graph. It’s really an amazing thing to step back and consider the way God is multiplying the work being done through Eternity. More so when you consider that He has far more in store.
New Partnerships
We’ve partnered with 2 camps and 2 churches to create leadership development programs that are custom tailored to the ministry needs of their context. We’re also working on a potential collaboration with 3 missions agencies to develop biblical training programs for their next wave of missionaries.
Partnerships like these are particularly exciting for me since it gives us the chance to come alongside and support churches and organizations as they go about the work of discipleship and taking the Gospel to the ends of the Earth. Please join me in praying for more such opportunities to help the church make disciples.
New Faces (and more on the way)
The word is out about Eternity. This school year we’ve accepted 118 new students, and we currently have 125 prospective students in the application process for the Fall (and it’s only February!). Please pray for these prospective students, and pray for us as we prepare to receive these students over the next year.
I could go on, but I’ll stop there. What an amazing thing to participate in Gospel advancement! We couldn’t do it without the partnership and prayers of our friends all around the world! Thank you for helping the church equip the saints for the work of ministry!
